THE DEVILS

Ancient History

From an old cassette, LIVE from the garage at 6204 Green Oaks 1979ish? There was a brief period where I had access to John F’s drum kit and I was *almost* an adequate drummer. Brian Harmer had just gotten his Teac 4 track recorder. The basic track is live stereo. I went to bed and Brian and Chris added a wah guitar track and a “vocal” track. I believe David Barrow has some compositional credit here also.

Brian Harmer –  guitar, “ahh”
Chris Vreeland – bass, “ahh”
John Viehweg – drums, audio engineer 🙂

Beat Meters: Getting a Tan

Circa 1987ish, from the release “Mistress of Meter”:

I recorded the basic tracks at Peter Butcher’s Europa Sound Centre. Dubs and Mix at Wink Tyler’s ARS with production by Mark Hallman.
Jeri Arsenault – lead vocals
Theresa Haak – backing vocals
Chris Vreeland – bass
Morgan Guidry – guitars
Jimmy Martin – keys
Dennis Bruhn – drums
Mark Hallman – backing vocals
Kevin Lance – shaker
